Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you know that we will not be meeting this Sunday morning. As of this point, please disregard the remaining dates on the calendar. We were thinking about having a brunch to discuss plans for next year but this weekend does not work out well for Bonnie. We are interested in having this planning brunch sometime in May or June. Once we arrange a date that can work, you will be invited. Hope everyone has an opporunity to enjoy this beautiful Spring day.
Shabbat Shalom,

Hope all are well and enjoying what is left of this holiday season.  I have been working to come up with a solution so we have dedicated class space to use when our group meets on Sundays.  I would like to propose that we move our start time to 11am instead of 10am.  There are several benefits to this time change:
1)  We can have a classroom available for our dedicated use at that time.
2)  We can all rest a little longer on a Sunday morning.
3)  We will avoid the hustle and bustle of TBA during family learning mornings.
4)  I can also participate in some family learning Sundays with Hebrew School parents in an effort to build relationships and more participation in our Adult Learning programs, including Sunday Morning Group.
For the month of January, I would like us to try this plan and see how it works.  Our dates to meet are January 9 and January 23rd now at 11am.  On January 9th, we will be discussing the chapter, "The Law."
Hope all Have a Happy New Year!
Thank you,

Due to the pending heavy snow storm, I am cancelling our meeting for Sunday, December 26th.  It is possible that the storm may not get going until after our class time but do not want to take a chance.  Let us defer the discussion of the current chapter, "The Law" until Sunday, December 9th.

Important Date Change-
Our next Sunday Morning Group meeting will be Sunday, December 26th at 10am instead of the 19th. Our reading for that date will be The Source Chapter entitled, "The Law".

Thank you, Michael

Just learned about this recent discovery in Israel...interesting. The room discovered makes me think of the chapter we all just read, "In the gymnasium."

Happy Thanksgiving, All!!!

September is coming. Just a reminder that we will be starting up again on Sunday, September 12th. We will be meeting at 10am this year. I am looking forward to our meetings again and to begin work on our special project of exploring James Michener's novel, The Source. Bob Baseman will be facilitating this discussion as we review Chapter 1 and lay the foundation for our own archaelogical experience at TBA. Please feel free to invite any friends to join us...I hope we see new faces this year. Enjoy the last days of summer! Michael
