Cancer free

Hi all,

Just wanted to follow yesterday's note with an update on Daniel. His scans today were all clear, and there is no evidence of the return of the cancer. We are obviously relieved and thankful. He will start Kindergarten in a few weeks as a happy, healthy little boy. We are also grateful for all the kind messages and thoughts sent our way today and expressed to us at the BBQ, and we thank those of you who have made donations to our Jimmy Fund walk team.

Help us end cancer

Tomorrow, Steve and I are taking our 5 year old son Daniel to his next appointment at the Jimmy Fund Clinic to ensure he remains cancer free. Thankfully, his appointments are now every six months instead of every three, and now we go with a little less fear but still knowing that relapse for him is not entirely out of the question. We are thankful he has remained free of cancer, but every visit to the Jimmy Fund Clinic is a reminder to us of the many children still battling this disease, the… Continue

MS Challenge Walk....Can you help?

For the last three years, my daughter, Deb, and her fiancé, Paul have been involved with the MS Challenge Walk. Each year in September they have either walked 50 miles or been a part of the crew that aids the walkers. This year they have chosen to walk again. They are trying to raise money that not only helps support research, but also provides aid to those afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis.
