Incredible Story of Courage and Faith

It is with sadness that I learned today that Shari Gershon's neshamah (soul) had left this world yesterday on Yom Kippur afternoon around the time that many of us were davening Mincha/Neilah. Heart and Sole Yom Kippur Campaign 2009

For the 2009 High Holy Day Season, we are pleased to announce the pilot of a new Yom Kippur initiative that will allow people to fulfill the mitzvah of tzedakah while honoring the prohibition against wearing leather shoes.

Israel 2010

Because of a date conflict I've had to move the Israel trip departure date from the 21st of June to the 22nd. This has brought our cost down a bit (yeah!!). The revised itinerary and costs are now posted on the Israel Group page of the website. Two hotels are listed as options for pricing. We will be staying at the Har Zion (it's really nice!)

What are you listening to on your iPod?

In previous posts I have listed my favorite Jewish books and movies. I am happy that members took the time read my posts and send me their ideas and thoughts on the subject.
